Exciting news for Parisians and visitors! The famous Dragons and Lanterns Festival from Shanghai is making its debut in Paris for the first time!
This unique event will begin on December 15, 2023 and run until February 25, 2024 at the Jardin d’Acclimatation, in collaboration with the Shanghai Yuyuan Garden.
Traditionally held in vibrant Shanghai, this year’s festival will bring enchanting installations and majestic creatures to Paris. Among them are lanterns and luminous structures skillfully created by the masters of Shanghai Yuyuan.
In addition to mesmerizing luminous displays, visitors will be able to peek into the workshops of Chinese artisans, sample traditional cuisine and enjoy lively folk songs and dances. Take a magical night walk to immerse yourself in the extraordinary world of the legendary Shanhaijing, a timeless gem of Chinese literature.
